I have learned that when you are at law school, especially at a school like Cornell (nothing to do there), you need something to keep you sane. My girlfriend has found the hit tv show 24. I had never watched 24 but on a recent visit I gave it a shot and I must say I am hooked.

Jack Bauer is like Batman except he works closely with the government and doesn’t live in a cave. Jack always seems to know the answers and knows exactly what to do. In the two seasons that I have watched, it seems like he is also immortal. He can die and come back to life at will. He is my new hero. haha

The show is great but if you can’t handle cliff hangers, I don’t recommend trying to watch the show when it is broadcast on TV. Just wait til the season ends and rent/buy the DVDs. Since there are 24 episodes, that means there are 24 cliff hangers and those with a weak heart may not make it through the season having to wait 7+ days for the next episode.

Oh, by the way Jack, you might want to silence your cell phone when you’re trying to sneak up on the bad guys. At least put it on vibrate. You never know when someone from CTU is going to call. You just might get shot.
